    What Else Can I Do? 

    • Become informed about wind turbine complexes and adverse health effects.  Tell your friends and neighbours about victims in Ontario and world wide.
    • Attend meetings regarding the Green Energy Act.  Be prepared these meetings are infomercials for wind energy.  Voice your objection to the Act.
    • Voice your objections to the Green Energy Act which is taking away civil rights. Draft letters and email addresses provided.
    • Participate in email campaigns targeted to local, Federal and the McGuinty Liberal governments.  Draft letters and email addresses provided.
    • Participate in email campaigns to support Ontario victims who are going public and need help.  Draft letters and email addresses provided.
    • Contact your local councillors, Federal MP and the MPP and voice your objections.
    • Attend meetings organized by your local group.  Support and voice your objections at these meetings.
    • Become an organizer and join the network of other organizers world wide.  Tools to help are available.
    • Contribute financially.

    • Ask the MOE to look at their current guidelines.   Something is seriously wrong.

    Honorable Mayor and Councilors: 

    Current provincial guidelines for the setbacks of large industrial wind generators are inappropriate for the populated rural areas of Essex County.

    Essex County needs:

    • a setback of 5000 meters ( 5 kilometers ) from our shorelines, schools and rural communities
    • a setback of 1200 meters from rural homes

    Large Industrial Turbines MUST be kept away from our important natural areas and Essex County homes and families.
