We are a group of concerned citizens in Essex County, Ontario who feel the recent proliferation of wind projects will have negative effects on Essex County. We have no affiliation with any group or industry. We feel the wind industry and the Ontario Liberal Government have no concern for the destruction of our rural countryside. Contact Us
We have what will be the 4th largest wind farm in the world in Telocaset. We are a farm community surrounded by forests and refuge for many wildlife animals, such as; bobcats, lynx, antelope, deer, elk, coyotes, and the smaaler species. There are a wide variety of birds, blue birds, meadow larks, eagles, hawks, falcons, and other varieties. These things are going up and making us very stressed out about the future here. What can we do as poor people to get some recourse? Who will represent us and the once beautiful place that was paradise to us? Please let us know what we can do.
You can have Low Frequency Noise rules passed in your state government. Alberta, Canada has implemented such rules in their directive 038. Go to the Alberta web site, http://www.eub.ca/docs/documents/directives/directive 038.pdf or http://www.eub.gov.ab.ca then go to Industry Zone, Directives then Directive 038.
Low Frequency noise has caused damage to my brain. The noise is from natural gas compressors of 1,000 horsepower. There are ten of them. Meter recordings show a frequency of 25 cycles per second at 70 decibels in my home.
The Human Development Center in Lisbon, Portugal has been studying noise efects on the human body for 25 years. Go to http://www.icsv12.ist.utl.pt/papers to see papers presented at the 12 international conference on low frequency noise.
Wind turbines create low frequency noise that can harm the human body. See my previous comments.
Industrial Wind Watch, http://www.wind-watch.org/ , From that site you can find many sources to help you. Remember the truth is a funny thing to get from wind companies. Also do not count on wild life officials doing there job. The wind scam is greed energy. When it comes to money there seems to be no bounds.
